Never Never Leave a Job Interview Without Asking These 2 Questions.
Waiting to hear back from the recruiter after interviews can cause anxiety and having a JOB-CRUSH can be very nerve-wracking, asking these 2 questions will help you manage expectations and anxiety.
When you're in a job interview and the hiring manager asks, "Do you have any questions for me?", the answer should be yes. You should come to the interview prepared with questions for your interviewer.
There are numerous questions you could ask, but there's one that MUST be asked. Here's what it is and why you should never leave an interview without asking it.
QUESTION 1: What are the next steps in the hiring process?
This will help you understand if the company are interviewing other candidates, how to prepare to move forward, when you might hear from them, what you need to prepare for.
If they don’t give you a definitive time when you are going to hear from them, then you can ask this second question.
QUESTION 2: Can I message you in a week to check in on my candidacy? OR Will it be okay If I am proactive and I email or call you to see the status of my candidacy?
You will get a Yes or No answer that will help calm your nerves and be at peace as you wait to hear back from the organization.
This way you leave the interview knowing that there is a process and you’ve got a valid reason and permission to follow up with whatever process they told you in terms of follow-up.
Always ask these 2 questions at the end of the interviews so you can have peace of mind without too much anxiety waiting around.
NOW GO GET THE JOB.
